Mr. Clifton was born in Calcutta, India. He is the son of a U.S. Diplomat and grew up in Asia, Africa and Europe. Mr. Clifton attended Stetson University in Deland, FL where he earned a degree in Political Science.
Mr. Clifton began his career with Monroe County, FL as a middle school history teacher. He then moved to South Daytona and entered the real estate market in 1995. He has been a Real Estate Broker since 1998 and is the Broker of Record for Enter Realty, Inc. Mr. Clifton also holds licensure as a Real Estate Instructor, Community Association Manager, and Community Association Manager Instructor.
Mr. Clifton currently serves on the City Council of South Daytona, FL where he is a 3 term elected official. Mr. Clifton has held this office since 1994. As an active member in the community, Mr. Clifton has volunteered for such projects as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, local youth sports organizations and the Republic National Committee to name a few.
As a member of United Affiliates, LLP, Mr. Clifton leads the Acquisition Management and Entitlement Group and the Closing Transaction Group. He is responsible for all areas concerning real estate sales, project management, zoning, permitting, entitlement, community association management, state licensing and education services, contract management, project reporting and public relations.
Mr. Clifton lives in South Daytona, Florida with his wife Sherry, and two children, Kathleen and Veronica. The Clifton’s are expecting their third child in December 2005.
