Real Estate Sales (Broker/Sales Associate)

Real Estate Sales Associate Pre-License
Cost: $399
Course Length: 63 Hours

This is a comprehensive course covering all aspects of Florida Real Estate Law and Practice. The course teaches applicants the tools to be both successful and compliant in the Real Estate Industry. Additionally the course will prepare the applicant for the state exam.

In order to allow for a more personal learning environment, the maximum capacity for each class is 12 students. Therefore, in the occurrence that you can not participate in the class, you will be scheduled for the next available class. No refunds provided.

Real Estate Sales Associate Post License
Cost: $225
Course Length:45 Hours
Schedule:TBA

The 45 hour Post License Course expands on the subject matter presented in the Pre-License Course. This course is required prior to your first renewal of your Sales Associate License.

General Florida Real Estate License Requirements

Sales Associate License Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have high school diploma or GED
Complete and pass the state approved 63 hour Sales Associate Pre-License course
Submit application to the Division of Real Estate with the appropriate fee
Pass the state exam
Exceptions to the above:
Attorneys with a current Florida Bar Card
4 year Degree in Real Estate

Broker's License Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have high school diploma or GED
Complete and pass the state approved 72 hour Brokers Pre-License course
Hold an active Sales Associate license for 24 months out of the past 5 years
Completed applicable post license education
Submit application to the Division of Real Estate with the appropriate fee
Pass the state exam
Exceptions to the above:
4 year Degree in Real Estate

Mortgage Broker Licensing

Cost: $245 (includes the text book)
Course Length:24 Hours
State test is on the 4th Tuesday of every month.

The purpose of the Mortgage Brokers License Course is to prepare the student for the State Exam.  A Mortgage Broker is defined as any individual who acts as an associate for either a licensed mortgage broker business or any lender licensed under Chapter 494, Florida Statutes. A licensed mortgage broker is authorized to advertise and solicit mortgage loans on behalf of a borrower, accept an applications, and negotiate terms and conditions of a mortgage loans on behalf of the lender.

Mortgage Brokers Application and Licensure Requirements:

Florida residency not required
Be at least 18 years of age
Complete and pass the state approved 24 hour course
Submit Form OFR-494-03 (state application), pay $195 State Application Fee
Submit fingerprint card, pay $43.25 Processing Fee
Pass state test.

Community Association Manager License

Cost: $245
Course Length:18 Hours

All Home Owners Associations or Condominium Associations in the State of Florida are required to have a Board of Directors of the community association. The Board has the obligation to maintain, manage, and operate the community association.  Florida requires a Community Manager handling more than 10 units, or a yearly budget of more than $100,000, to have a Community Association Manager's license.

Register for the CAM Course

Community Association Manager Licensure Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age
Complete and pass the state approved 18 hour CAM pre-licensure course
Submit 
State Application Package, pay $228 Application Fees
Submit Electronic Fingerprints, pay $57.25 Processing Fee
Pass state test.
