Dan Clifton was born in Calcutta, India. He is the son of a U.S. Diplomat and grew up in Asia, Africa and Europe. Dan Clifton attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where he earned degrees in Hospitality Administration and Marketing.

Dan Clifton is the Managing Broker for Clifton Financial Services, Inc, a Mortgage Lender head quartered in Florida.  Clifton Financial Services is licensed to lend in several states and maintains offices in Florida, Texas and Colorado.  As the Managing Broker, Dan Clifton is responsible for the management of residential and commercial loan origination, training, compliance, secondary marketing, strategic development and marketing and growth.  He also specializes in condominium project approvals with Fannie Mae and FHA.

Dan Clifton has worked for Quality Hotels Europe as a Feasibility Analyst responsible for site selection and location analysis for Quality Hotel's expansion into Europe. He then worked with Offerdahls Bagel Gourmet in South Florida prior to its merger with Einstein Bros. Bagels where he was member of the unit opening team, and was responsible for new store development in addition to daily operations, human resource management, payroll and profitability management, and guest service.

Subsequent to leaving Offerdahl's Bagel Gourmet, Dan Clifton joined ARAMARK Corporation, a Fortune 500 Company specializing in managed services. As a Senior Director at the Walt Disney World account, Dan Clifton was responsible for daily operations, marketing program development and implementation, financial budgeting, payroll, expense management, profitability management, client relations, guest service, human resource management, and liability claims management.

Dan Clifton also served in the following capacities for ARAMARK

• Certified Management Trainer for the Southeast Region
• Marketing Network Team Leader for the District of Florida
• Marketing Operations Management Trainer for the Southeast Region
• Labour Productivity Team Member for the Southeast Region

One of the signature passions of Mr. Clifton is the support of New Hope for Kids, a charity in Maitland Florida, which benefits and supports children who have lost a parent.  An annual charity event, Hold'em for Hope(R),  is hosted by Clifton Financial Services each year with all proceeds benefiting New Hope for Kids.

Mr. Clifton also serves on the Board of Directors of Maitland Soccer Club as the Treasurer.  MSC is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organiztion which runs youth based soccer activies and teams for the benefit of the community and the children.
